GUIDING DOCUMENTS for HIV Planning

Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE) is a bold plan announced in 2019 that aims to end the HIV epidemic in the United States by 2030.

This plan is the result of a collaborative effort on the part of Essex and Hudson County HIV service providers, planning bodies, stakeholders, community members and the New Jersey Department of Health’s (NJDOH) Division of HIV, STD and TB Services (DHSTS).

The National HIV/AIDS Strategy (2022–2025) provides stakeholders across the nation with a roadmap to accelerate efforts to end the HIV epidemic in the United States by 2030.
